I’ve just started playing with fabric buttons.
What does calibration for fabric buttons entail?
After the machine is calibrated, can I still use it for paper buttons, or do I need to have two machines if I get into fabrics big time?

Fabric buttons: Mylar or no mylar?

Hi All! I am about to purchase a fabric button maker, and wondering for those of you that have one, did you get your machine calibrated for use with mylar? If so… have you used it without mylar (maybe by adding interfacing behind the fabric)? What were your results?

I’m having a tough time deciding whether I want to calibrate the machine for mylar or not. Thanks for your help!

I love the fabric pocket mirror. I am just about to get the machine. However does anyone know could the 225 fabric button making machine be used to make paper button in smaller size such as 1″ or 1 1/2″? Thank you.

I see a lot of posts about fabric buttons. I’ve never tried to make fabric buttons, but I’m getting interested. Can you list some of the items that is good for fabric buttons? I have a 2.25″ button maker.

Another question…Would you really want/need to put the mylar over the fabric? Wouldn’t it look nice to have the fabric only sow and not be all glossy?

Additional information would be great. :)
