I’ve been thinking about purchasing the button machines for quite some time. Now, I am ready to actually do so. I came on today to learn more about creating the items in photoshop. I’ve learned a lot in PS, but am stumped on the first part of your PS tutorial. The template I downloaded did not automatically jump into PS as is stated on the video. So, I saved it to a jpeg and then opened it. When I opened it, it opened on a white background, not transparent. Can you provide more instructions on how to set up the template? Currently, I cannot see through to the template as is shown in the video. BTW: I have CS4. I would love to experiment with some photos before I invest $$$$$.

What ABM Parts will work with Badge A Minit?
I have just found this websight a few days ago and wish I had found it much sooner!
How many different ABM button parts will work in the Badge A Minit system?
Will the key chain and mirror back parts work? How is the build quality? The crimp? is the mirror tight or loose? What is your reject rate? I am at 40% reject rate with my Badge A Minit system. My reject rate with pin backs in 3″ and 2 1/4″ are about 2%.

Really looking forward to learning from everyone and looking forward to doing bussiness with American Button Machines.

I’ve been searching for what photographers with button machines really need, design templates which allows us to put rectangular pictures on a round button with colorful graphic to fill in the wasted space. We have hundreds of pictures which can’t be cut round. I tried making designs my self in photoshop, but I’m not a designer and the results look very basic. Has anyone found these?

I am interested in button making, but I do not have a button maker machine. Do all of your button supplies need a button maker to make a pinback button?

I saw a 7/8″ button size somewhere. You mentioned that you have all kinds of button sizes but I could not find one on your website. Do you offer a 7/8″ button machine?

Hello ABM, I see a lot of button makers on your website. Can I ask what makes your button machines better or any different than the others I see on the internet for button making?

    Starting A Button Business
I haven’t started a button business or bought any equipment. What would you all suggest as the right machine (or size) to get started? How do you determine pricing? I need this information to convince my wife we can add this to our current promotional product business. I know schools and churches are a good target, but I need more ideas for sales.

What is your warranty on the pinback button machines that you sell?

I purchased one recently, and it has worked great!  I don’t anticipate any problems, but would just like to be prepared in case.  Thanks!
